How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Surgical Assistance: Directly assist physicians with homeostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and positioning.

• Scrub Expertise: Lead instrument selection and sterile handling for complex surgical procedures.

• Circulating Advocacy: Manage total patient care and real-time monitoring throughout the preoperative cycle.

• OR Readiness: Expertly prepare surgical suites, specialized instrumentation, and advanced equipment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
