Head of Marketing Operations

With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.We're looking for a Head of Marketing Operations to serve as the operational backbone of the marketing organization. This person will own budget, hiring operations, cross-team coordination, and the marketing tech stack, while working closely with the CMO on executive presentations, readouts, and the day-to-day priorities that keep the marketing organization running smoothly. This is a highly cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives on structure, enjoys translating ambiguity into clear process, and can build trust across a diverse set of stakeholders (creative, demand gen, product marketing, comms, etc.) as well as with senior leadership.What You'll DoBudget & Financial OperationsOwn and manage the marketing department's budget end to end, tracking spend against plan, flagging variances, and partnering with Finance on forecasting and reportingBuild visibility into spend by team/channel/program so leadership can make informed tradeoffsSupport quarterly and annual budget planning cyclesHiring OperationsPartner with Talent Acquisition and marketing leads to manage headcount planning, requisition tracking, and interview logisticsHelp standardize hiring processes across marketing sub-teams (job descriptions, interview loops, scorecards)Keep hiring plans aligned with budget and org designCross-Functional Coordination & Executive PartnershipBring together the different functions within marketing (brand, demand gen, product marketing, comms, etc.) for regular tactical updates and team-wide readoutsOwn the cadence, agenda, and follow-through for marketing leadership meetings and all-handsPartner directly with the CMO on presentation development, including board decks, executive readouts, and strategy docs, ensuring materials are polished, data-backed, and on-messageMarketing Technology & Tools OversightOwn visibility and oversight into all tools and platforms marketing is evaluating or onboarding over the next 12 monthsManage vendor evaluations, procurement conversations, and onboarding/rollout plans for new toolsMaintain a master view of the marketing tech stack, including licensing, usage, and renewal timelinesWhat We're Looking For10 + years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, or a similar role supporting a senior marketing leadersStrong financial acumen, comfortable owning a budget and communicating spend clearly to executivesExperience with hiring/recruiting operations, ideally partnering closely with TA teamsExcellent presentation and communication skills; experience building exec-level decksFamiliarity with common marketing tech stack tools (e.g., marketing automation, analytics, project management platforms)Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating across ambiguityA collaborative operator who can build trust across a wide range of stakeholders, from individual contributors to the C-suiteThis is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
