TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saint Johns, Michigan, 48879!
Job Title: Critical Care Stepdown RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care stepdown - Telemetry experience - Travel experience License: - Active State license required Certifications: - ACLS - BCLS Must-Have: - Experience with drips, telemetry, BiPAP, and high flow Description: We are seeking a Critical Care Stepdown RN to join our team. This position involves working night shifts: 3 shifts of 12 hours each. There is a weekend requirement of 2 per month, typically every third weekend. No call or floating is required. The nurse will manage telemetry monitors and oversee patients in a stepdown unit. Responsibilities include initiating drips and managing patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and A-Fib. The role involves collaboration with the Rapid Response Team and other interdisciplinary support staff. Candidates must have experience in administering insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips.
