As a Fire Alarm Installer, you’ll master diverse proprietary and non-proprietary electronic fire alarm systems and engage in hands-on work, from installation to programming. - Installation & Programming: Install, maintain, repair, program and configure fire alarm systems and equipment at customer sites
- Testing: Test and inspect fire alarm systems, batteries and electrical wiring
- Compliance: Ensure work complies with relevant codes including NFPA standards
- Documentation: Complete inspection and correction reports and maintain required records
- Customer Service: Convey system operations to customers and respond to emergency service calls

- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- EL-06 License (required)
- NICET II (preferred but not required)
- 4+ years in fire alarm installation
- 2+ years in fire alarm inspections, maintenance, and/or repairs
- Understanding of NEC (low voltage) and NFPA 72
- Familiarity with water-based fire sprinkler systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, utility vaults (confined spaces), above ceilings, etc.
- Able to work a full-time yet flexible schedule
- Drug screening and background checks will only be conducted after a conditional job offer is made. We evaluate criminal history based on its relevance to the job duties.
- This is a Safety Sensitive position. All candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment drug screening test, including testing for marijuana/THC/cannabis, regardless of state law or medical authorization, as a condition of employment.
