Job SummaryThe Sales Assistant supports the Fabrication Account Manager with various administrative duties related to specific customer accounts.Summary Of Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesWorks collaboratively with internal and external customers to successfully drive the vision and mission of Kloeckner MetalsProcesses data entry related to shipping logs, PO's, pricing, and other informationComplete Sales Order/Confirmation entries based on customer PO'sAssist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory and transfers from KMC facilities to OOP locationsInput OOP production of fabricated components for accounts as directedUpdate daily reports and account management toolsAssist Fabrication Account Managers with various duties as requiredOther duties as assignedQualificationsIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in group problem solving situationsManages difficult or emotional customer and employee situations; Responds promptly to customer and departmental needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitmentsSpeaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetingsCompletes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and valuesUses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Successfully achieves goals and objectivesExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleStrong commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplaceExcels at operating in a fast pace, community environmentHigh school diploma/equivalent or relevant experience preferredAbility to interpret business information, prepare correspondence, and communicate effectivelyProficiency in basic business math, percentages, algebra, and geometryIntermediate proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, inventory and order-processing systems, and email.
