Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 3 years of experience and active ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification for a 13-week travel assignment at an academic medical center in California.

Details

• Academic medical center nuclear medicine department
• Facility conducts research PET scans using investigational ligands, with limited isotope availability on certain days and times
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Variable start times between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Schedule flexibility is required; no blocked or self-scheduling

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years
• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT(N), CNMT, or NMTCB certification required
• Valid, active CA state license required — license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• ARRT(R) and PET experience preferred
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
• At least one supervisory or manager reference from the past year in the relevant specialty area required for consideration

Additional Information

• CT certification is not required for this position
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• No RTO requests within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO must be declared at time of submission and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
