Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

The position involves supporting surgical teams during operations. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the sterile field. The Certified OR Tech will assist with various procedures, including abdominal hysterectomies, laparoscopic gynecological procedures, and total joint replacements. Experience with equipment documentation and aseptic techniques is essential. Candidates should be familiar with high-level disinfectant processes and the sterilization of instruments. Knowledge of universal protocol and infection control precautions is also necessary. The role may require floating to different locations and adapting to variable shifts.
