The role requires delivering high-quality patient assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a family-centered environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Floor
• Location: Winston-Salem, NC
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation, working from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, PALS preferred, 1 year in pediatric hem/oncology acute care or pediatric acute care, and pediatric-specific skills including central line management, chemotherapy administration, and strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking.
• Support within the Department: CNA duties including vital signs, ADL, safety rounding, and I&Os; resources such as bedside telemetry monitoring, hospitalist, intensivist, and resource nurse support.
• Technology/Equipment: EMR using Epic, IV pumps (Alaris), Omnicell medication dispensing, and unit-specific monitors.
• Additional Information: RTO requests accepted, orientation involves two days of departmental training, parking is free, and the unit culture emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, education, and safety.
