Role Description This is a full-time, entry-level on-site Social Media Content Creator role based in Charleston, SC. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging photo, video, and copy content across key social platforms, aligning with brand voice and seasonal campaigns. Daily responsibilities include brainstorming and executing content concepts, capturing and editing visual assets, writing captions, scheduling posts, and monitoring performance metrics. The role will collaborate closely with marketing, e-commerce, and retail teams to support product launches, in-store events, and brand storytelling initiatives. The Social Media Content Creator will also engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and provide insights to help grow audience reach and engagement. Qualifications Demonstrated experience creating social media content (images, short-form video, and copy) for consumer or lifestyle brands. Proficiency with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) and familiarity with emerging trends and features. Basic skills in photography, videography, and editing using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar applications. Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to match brand guidelines. Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial retail and e-commerce environment in Charleston, SC. Excellent organizational skills, including content planning, calendar management, and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience interpreting social media analytics and using insights to refine content strategies. Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills to partner with marketing, retail, and design teams. Interest in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brands; prior experience in these sectors is a plus. Relevant education or training in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is preferred but not required. 0-2 years of marketing, social media, retail, internship, or related experience preferred.
