Pharmacy Technician in Rocky Hill, CT

$16 - $26 per hour

An urgent opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician at a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder pharmacy located in Rocky Hill, CT. This contract position requires a dedicated professional ready to contribute effectively to the pharmacy's operations with an immediate start.

Schedule/Hours:

Shift hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Must be flexible to start as early as 8:00 AM or work until 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately filling prescriptions with attention to detail
Blister packing medications according to LTC protocols
Properly labeling medication packages to ensure patient safety
Using the Frameworks system for inventory and prescription management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current and valid Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license (mandatory)
Prior experience in an LTC pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacy technicians with strong volume processing skills are also encouraged to apply
Ability to maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Contract Details:

Immediate start with a 4-week duration
