Resicum International, LLC. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III to serve as the Safe for Flight / Maintenance Control / Site Lead supporting MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida .

The Aircraft Mechanic III Site Lead will provide senior-level aircraft maintenance expertise while supporting Maintenance Control, Safe for Flight functions, maintenance planning, workload prioritization, quality oversight, and day-to-day maintenance operations.

The position requires extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, technical publications, maintenance documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, and Organizational-Level Maintenance operations.

The Site Lead will coordinate maintenance activities, support aircraft readiness requirements, provide technical direction to assigned personnel, and ensure maintenance is performed safely and in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical directives, and local instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S aircraft. 
• Serve as the contractor Site Lead and senior maintenance representative. 
• Support Maintenance Control operations. 
• Support Safe for Flight program requirements. 
• Coordinate daily maintenance workload and aircraft maintenance priorities. 
• Monitor maintenance activities to support aircraft readiness. 
• Provide technical guidance and direction to assigned maintenance personnel. 
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft discrepancies using applicable technical manuals and authorized test equipment. 
• Perform inspections, repairs, servicing, component replacement, and modifications. 
• Review maintenance documentation and aircraft records for accuracy and completeness. 
• Support aircraft inspections and maintenance status reporting. 
• Support CDI/CDQAR quality-control requirements. 
• Support Technical Directive Compliance requirements. 
• Support aircraft movement, flight-line operations, and ground support activities. 
• Support corrosion prevention and control activities. 
• Support aircraft preservation and de-preservation as required. 
• Coordinate maintenance activities associated with aircraft detachments. 
• Support actual SAR missions and aircraft launch, recovery, and reset requirements when directed. 
• Coordinate maintenance response to requirements outside normal working hours when required. 
• Ensure assigned personnel maintain required training, certifications, and qualifications. 
• Provide technical leadership during complex maintenance activities. 
• Participate in aircraft movement, salvage, emergency drills, and other operational requirements when directed. 
• Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.

Requirements:

 

Specific MH-60R/S Experience — REQUIRED

• Must have direct hands-on aircraft maintenance experience applicable to MH-60R/S aircraft.  
• Must have experience performing Organizational-Level aircraft maintenance.  
• Must have experience performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. 
• Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies. 
• Must have experience interpreting aircraft technical publications and maintenance documentation. 
• Must have senior-level aircraft maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic III skill level. 
• Must be capable of providing technical direction to other maintenance personnel. 
• Must be capable of prioritizing maintenance workload and supporting aircraft readiness requirements. 
• Generic aircraft mechanic experience without applicable rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.  

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a current U.S. Passport . 
• Must possess aircraft maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic III skill level. 
• Must have extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and technical documentation. 
• Must have experience with aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and component replacement. 
• Must have experience using aircraft-specific tools and test equipment. 
• Must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft maintenance problems. 
• Must be capable of interpreting applicable technical manuals and maintenance publications. 
• Must be capable of prioritizing workload and meeting aircraft maintenance schedules. 
• Must be capable of providing technical guidance to lower-level maintenance personnel. 
• Must be capable of maintaining accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation. 
• Must maintain required aircraft maintenance qualifications and certifications. 
• Qualifications may include CDQAR, CDI, Safe for Flight, Plane Captain/Plane Handler, Tire and Wheel, Hydraulic Contamination, Vibration Analysis, Ordnance, Forklift , and other qualifications applicable to assigned duties. 
• Must be willing and able to support aircraft detachments, travel, and operational requirements as required. 
• Must be capable of supporting SAR maintenance requirements, including short-notice maintenance response when required.
