Pay: $20-$25/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Set-Up Technician to prepare, repair, and maintain modular buildings and trailers. This role involves basic carpentry, light plumbing hookups, flooring installation, painting, furniture assembly, and general labor tasks. If you enjoy working with tools, staying active, and having a variety of responsibilities throughout the day, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry work including light framing, trim repair, and door installation/adjustments
• Complete simple plumbing hookups for sinks and toilets
• Install vinyl flooring and carpet squares
• Perform interior and exterior paint touch-ups
• Use hand and power tools to repair, assemble, and maintain modular units and trailers
• Assemble and move furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean units, remove debris, and assist with general labor tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction, remodeling, landscaping, or general labor experience
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic carpentry skills required
• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working on hands and knees
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with remodeling or renovation projects
• Flooring installation experience
• Basic plumbing experience
• Furniture assembly experience
• Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment

This is a physically active position working both inside and outside modular units and trailers. Employees should be comfortable working in changing weather conditions and performing tasks that involve lifting, moving materials, kneeling, and using construction tools and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
