Seasonal Contract RN – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Alternating Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day and night shift structures
• Adhere to unit attendance policies and dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency and intermediate fetal monitoring skills
• Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency
• C-section circulation experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
• Strong team-oriented attitude with a positive, collaborative approach to patient care
