Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Radiology Manager, perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and exercise professional judgment in procedure performance.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position appropriately, and provide compassionate patient care; ensure safety and comfort throughout exams.
- Verify orders and patient identity, review contraindications, and select suitable MRI protocols and coils; adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality.
- Operate the MRI scanner, monitor the patient during the exam, recognize and respond to any safety concerns, and maintain patient and room safety standards.
- Process and prepare images for radiologists, ensure correct labeling and documentation, and communicate imaging findings as required.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine quality assurance checks in accordance with department policies.

Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in MRI and active BLS certification at time of submission
- Minimum 2+ years of MRI technologist experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgery center environment
- Strong patient communication skills and commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to follow established protocols and collaborate with the Radiology team
