Pediatric Pulmonologist, PD

Job Description

Responsible for providing primary care for patients suffering from injuries and common illnesses including diagnosing disorders, prescribing medications, making recommendations on lifestyle changes, and answering patients' questions. May work in one or more areas of specialization, such as anesthesiology, family and general medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Principal accountabilities include examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients' concerns, diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and disorders, ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes, consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, explaining medical procedures to patients, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in Medical or related field. A state license and certification to practice medicine. Successful completion of a residency and internship. Preferred: Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
