INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a BC/BE Surgical Oncologist to join our growing multidisciplinary sub-specialized cancer team in Oklahoma City. In this new position you can expect to: Practice within a tertiary care center offering strong subspecialty support Diagnose and treat malignancies Perform complex oncologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures Collaborate with well-established integrated medical and radiation oncologists Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case conferences Provide call coverage as needed Participate in clinical trials Utilize Epic EMR (is system-wide) Actively participate in program development and growth initiatives The Physician provides direct patient care. Responsibilities Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team Ensures fiscal viability of the practice Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
