Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Day
Pay: Up to $29/Hour | Location: St Louis, MO | Schedule: PRN

Re?ignite motivation through purposeful activity. As a CTRS, you design therapeutic recreation that reduces anxiety, builds coping, and fosters connection bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Assess leisure interests and functional skills; write goal?driven care plans.
- Lead groups in mindfulness, art/music, movement, and community reintegration skills.
- Track attendance and outcomes; collaborate with nursing and therapy to reinforce coping plans.
- Maintain safe spaces and equipment; adapt activities to diverse abilities.
- Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
- Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy or related field; NCTRC certification (CTRS).
- Experience in inpatient psych or substance use treatment preferred.
- Creative, energetic facilitator with patient?first mindset.
