If you have a heart for helping others, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressingProvide companionship and emotional support to clients and their familiesPrepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as neededPerform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spacesAssist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safetyMonitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisorsTransport clients to appointments, errands, and social activitiesMaintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activitiesRequirements:Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferredGenuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individualsReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCPR/First Aid certification is a plusAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsAbout Us:ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is a trusted provider of in-home care services dedicated to helping clients live their best lives possible.
