We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Controls Engineer to design, program, and maintain control systems for a manufacturing facility. You will bridge the gap between mechanical and software engineering, ensuring the production lines run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and modify electrical control systems, control panels, and schematics using CAD software.
  • Write, implement, and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic.
  • All phases of electric, to include 220v, 440v, etc.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and controls-related equipment, establishing preventative maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all machinery and automated cells comply with OSHA and local machine safety standards.
  • Train maintenance personnel and plant technicians on controls operations, disaster recovery, and system troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an industrial or high-volume manufacturing environment as Controls Engineer.
  • Strong background in PLC programming, and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong cross-functional communication, and the capacity to work independently during equipment launches or off-shifts.
