Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full Time/Part Time/PRN

The Palms at Venice in Venice, Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, resident-centered therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities
• Monitor resident progress and report changes in condition to the supervising PT
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow established care plans and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (required)
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while adhering to PT supervision requirements
• Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes
