Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full Time/Part Time/PRN
The Palms at Venice in Venice, Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, resident-centered therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities
- Monitor resident progress and report changes in condition to the supervising PT
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Follow established care plans and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (required)
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while adhering to PT supervision requirements
- Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes
