RN Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule

36-hour or 48-hour shifts, weekend requirement of at least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period, and must work 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day).

Assignment Details

Minimum of 13-week assignment. No RTO within the first 2 weeks, maximum RTO of 2 weeks total for assignment.

Requirements

• Active California RN license required at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Prior large-facility experience (400+ beds) preferred for first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage central lines.
• Perform assessments and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccination required; no exemptions. EKG exam to be administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to continue. Background checks will be conducted.
