Job Description

The Emergency Department is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills, ensuring effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and recognize changes in patient conditions effectively.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
• Administer moderate sedation, CPR, blood transfusions, and other treatments as required.
• Monitor patient vitals and perform EKGs and trauma assessments.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Emergency Department, preferably in a level 1 or 2 Trauma Center.
