Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to cover an acute care with LTAC rotation in a hospital setting in Rochester, NY. This travel assignment starts on 08/31/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Pay ranges from $2,013 to $2,110 per week, with no guaranteed hours. The schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, with every-other weekend coverage, a rotating between acute and LTAC units, and call as feasible. The role involves ventilator management, ABG sampling, and comprehensive respiratory care across adult patients, with EPIC charting required for documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide ventilator management across devices (Hamilton, Servo-U, V30s) and noninvasive ventilation, including BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC/NIV therapy
- Perform ABG collection and assist with results interpretation and ventilator weaning
- Conduct pulmonary hygiene, airway management, suctioning, and trach care as indicated
- Assess patient status, document findings, and collaborate with ED and critical care teams
- Support acute and LTAC patients, including care planning and response to emergent respiratory changes
- Participate in charting within EPIC and assist with daily care planning and patient assessments
- Provide call coverage at night when possible (approximately every other week)
- Float between units/settings as a traveler

Requirements
- NY state license in hand to submit; active RRT credential required
- BLS certification; EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience; ED and adult critical care experience required
- Ability to work in adult critical care and emergency department settings; floating between units anticipated
- Pre-start orientation and onboarding processes (36 hours) completed prior to start
- May be asked to assist with airway management, including extubation and suctioning per protocol
