Job Summary

We are excited to welcome a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to our team! This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with elementary, middle, and high school students within Carroll County Public Schools . You will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating psychological concerns, fostering essential life skills, and guiding clients through challenges to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs.
• Deliver evidence-based mental health therapy to individuals, families, and children.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Facilitate group and individual sessions using proven therapeutic methods.
• Ensure detailed, timely, and accurate documentation of treatment plans and client progress.
• Conduct regular wellness check-ins to monitor and support ongoing client success.
• Uphold all professional licensing standards and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Education : Masters degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Licensure : Current and unrestricted license to practice therapy in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, etc.).
• Experience : Previous experience as a mental health therapist is preferred but not required.
• Skills :
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage client caseloads and documentation efficiently.
  • A genuine passion for supporting youth mental health and fostering positive change.
