Data Engineer (GCP)

Data Engineer (GCP) Client Location: Charlotte, NC Job Responsibilities Participate proactively in stand‑up meetings, scrum ceremonies, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and suggest improvements. Articulate and facilitate conversations with business owners and delivery teams. Document and prioritize data and pipeline defects, working closely with defect management teams for resolution. Provide status reporting, project risk issue management, business stakeholder reviews, and approvals of deliverables. Maintain a detailed understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, test automation, and deployments. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of data engineering experience with 1+ year of relevant GCP experience. Proficiency in data engineering, ETL pipelines, batch and streaming processing with SQL, Python, PySpark, Unix/Linux, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with GCP native services such as BigQuery, Composer, GCS, and Dataflow. Experience in data migration, data quality, and data governance. Experience working in an Agile Scrum/KANBAN environment. Strong communication skills for facilitating discussions between business owners and delivery teams. Compensation The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $90,000 – $96,000.
