Details Medical Surgical Unit within a hospital setting Cardiac step-down/telemetry patient population Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730) organized in 6-week blocks 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week Straight night shifts may be considered for interested candidates No straight day shift positions available Weekend rotation required every other weekend Volunteer on-call only Requirements Active RN license (SD or compact) currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Cardiac step-down experience required Experience managing vasoactive drips including nitro, Levophed, Neo-Synephrine, anti-arrhythmics, and Cleviprex required BiPAP management experience required Chest tube management experience required Telemetry experience required Additional Information Holiday coverage required in addition to every other weekend rotation Candidates interested in straight weekend schedules are welcomed No prior Avera or Sanford permanent employees eligible for consideration Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted American Traveler Job ID P-747788.
