Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Schedule: M-F, 8-5 or at least 40 hrs/wk

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 13
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Possession of an Occupational Therapy License issued by the state.
• Possession of a valid registration certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Implement programs to help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning.
• Direct aides and assistants in therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Create and instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs.
• Document patient care services and maintain confidentiality and safety protocols.
