Lead - Radiation Therapist Overview Lead Radiation Therapist, FT, Piedmont Columbus John B. Amos Cancer Center. Performing tumor localizations and administering ionizing radiation for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the supervising physician. Serving as mentor for newly hired and staff therapists, coordinating completion of weekly chart checks and organization of supplies and immobilization devices, maintaining patient treatment schedule, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and assisting in the implementation of new technology.
