Introduction We are a small family living in the East Bay, seeking an experienced sitter to care for our primary school-aged daughter with kindness, respect, and a playful approach. Responsibilities We are looking for someone who loves children and can provide a positive nurturing environment. Responsibilities include fun activities such as creative projects, music and dance, imaginative play, outdoor walks and play at the nearby park, teaching life-skills such as cooking and clean-up, homework supervision, help with using the potty, bedtime, and ensuring her safety while we are out. Candidates must be CPA certified and fully vaccinated. Our ideal candidate would offer light cooking, tidying, and cleanup; guiding our daughter in pet-care; active outdoor play, activities that don’t involve screens; and be bilingual. About Us Our daughter is very sweet and easy-going, creative, affectionate, loves to read, and used to helping with age-appropriate household contributions. I am an artist and my husband works in computer security from home. Type of Job & Pay This is a live-out position, meaning you will not need to stay overnight. We offer a pay rate of $18-$25 per hour for your services depending on experience level. We need someone who’s available for occasional sitting needs on Fridays, weekends for date night, and for school-closure days. Potentially with the right fit, this could become a regular part-time position and with more days on weekends and during school breaks.
