What You’ll Do Safety First: Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance. Driving Operational Excellence: Lead and direct a team that consistently produces high‑quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. Own team performance, address shortcomings proactively, and celebrate successes. Strategic Focus & Problem Solving: Prioritize critical tasks and allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. Conflict Resolution & Interpersonal Relationships: Proactively address and mediate conflicts, facilitating mutually acceptable solutions. Build strong, positive working relationships with partners—including suppliers and union representatives—through transparent communication and an emphasis on psychological safety. Accountability & Fairness: Champion accountability, manage your performance and that of the hourly workforce, ensure fairness, and meet conflict with decisive action. Collaboration: Listen to all team members and stakeholders, partnering with team, union, and management to continuously improve everything. You’ll Have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience. Ability to work rotating shifts/hours, including nights and weekends. Even Better You May Have Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology and/or Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP) Experience.
