Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Ottumwa, Iowa. The role provides nursing care in an acute care Emergency Room setting with a primarily adult and geriatric patient population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA))
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Background clearance requirements applicable for Iowa (criminal portion and Child Abuse portion required)
  • Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult reporting
  • Drug test requirement: 10-panel screening including opiates
  • Immunity/titers required from the last 12 months (Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B (Hep B), Varicella, and Tuberculosis (TB))
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience and experience in a similar-size acute care setting
• Additional Information:
  • Patient volume and call coverage needs require coverage for daily volume and call coverage 24/7
  • Willingness to support Monday or Tuesday start dates may be required
  • The facility primarily serves adults and geriatrics
