PG1 Restaurants is looking for a Shift Leader to join the Jersey Mike’s family in La Plata, MD!
If you are dependable, positive, hardworking, and ready to lead by example, we want to meet you!
What You’ll DoAs a Shift Leader, you will help lead the team and keep the restaurant running smoothly throughout the shift.
Lead and support the team throughout the shift
Keep the team organized and focused during busy periods
Follow and uphold company policies, procedures, Core Values, and operating standards
Hold yourself and the team accountable to the standard
Ensure every sub is made correctly, including Mike’s Way
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest service
Support labor, cash, inventory, and shift goals
Coach and mentor team members
Handle guest concerns professionally
Lead by example and protect and promote our culture
Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this leadership position and to operate the mechanical slicer
Open availability – must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Previous leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience
Strong customer service skills
Good communication skills
Reliable and dependable
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Willing to work alongside the team
Coachable and willing to learn
Takes pride in doing things the right way
Paid training is provided.
