Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - West Point, Mississippi

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist looking to provide professional pharmacy services on a per diem basis. The role involves supporting a veterinary pharmacy with typical retail pharmacy duties, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing. This position requires a pharmacy license in Mississippi and at least one year of recent experience in a pharmacy setting, with preference given to candidates familiar with retail or veterinary environments.

Schedule:

July 14, 15, and 16
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify medication orders
Counsel patients and caregivers on proper medication use
Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with veterinary professionals and other healthcare providers
Manage inventory and perform routine pharmacy operations typical of retail settings

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in Mississippi (MS License required)
Minimum of one year recent experience in a pharmacy, preferably retail or veterinary
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
