Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established outpatient cardiology team in Davenport, Iowa. This opportunity can be tailored toward General Cardiology or Electrophysiology (EP) based on your experience and clinical interests. Whether you're an experienced cardiology APP, interested in developing specialized EP expertise, or a new graduate looking for the right environment to begin your career, you'll work alongside an experienced team of cardiologists and APPs with the support to continue developing your skills. The position is 100% outpatient , offering a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no hospital rounding, no call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage. General Cardiology Build broad cardiovascular experience managing patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. You'll participate in new patient evaluations, follow-up care, medication management, cardiovascular risk reduction, and long-term disease management while collaborating closely with our cardiologists. Electrophysiology (EP) Interested in specializing? Work alongside electrophysiologists caring for patients with arrhythmias and cardiac rhythm disorders while developing expertise in this growing area of cardiovascular medicine. CVM welcomes new graduate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine. Rather than stepping into cardiology on your own, you'll join an established team of physicians and experienced APPs with opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and continued clinical learning as you build your confidence and expertise. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will vary depending on your General Cardiology or EP focus and may include: Evaluate and manage cardiovascular patients in the outpatient setting Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions Order and review EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, stress testing, and other cardiovascular diagnostics Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and cardiovascular risk reduction Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the clinical team Develop additional specialty expertise for providers pursuing an EP-focused role What We’re Looking For Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active Iowa license or ability to obtain licensure prior to starting Interest in General Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology Previous cardiology, EP, or outpatient experience is valued but not required New graduate NPs and PAs are encouraged to apply Strong communication and clinical skills Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care Compensation & Benefits CVM offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive base compensation Performance incentive opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off CME allowance 401(k) retirement plan Professional development and continuing education support About Cardiovascular Medicine For more than 45 years, Cardiovascular Medicine has provided comprehensive cardiovascular care throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding communities.
