Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Nights

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. The unit is a high-risk OB department with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites. This is a fast-paced environment serving a large regional population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of both mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• May be required to float to other maternal units such as postpartum and NICU as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid NV State RN license prior to start.
• NRP, BLS, ACLS certifications are required; STABLE certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, particularly in a high-risk hospital setting.
