As a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day, helping patients regain independence and achieve their recovery goals. Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Nursing Assistant [Certified Patient Care Technician] - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required Experience with patient care or medical assisting in a hospital or healthcare setting. 1-2 years required Strong ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care with respect for patients' dignity and privacy. Ability to accurately monitor and document patient information and report any changes or concerns promptly. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving patients, and standing for extended periods. Collaborative mindset to work efficiently with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Ability to respond to patient needs and concerns with resourcefulness and initiative.
