Doral Equipment Rental is searching for an  experienced mechanic to help maintain their expanding carry deck crane fleet. We carry Broderson, Grove and Shuttleift products. Only mechanics with the proper amount of experience will be considered for this position.

Job responsibilities:

· Perform general PM's on equipment after each rental.

· Wash and fuel equipment.

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe work space and shop.

· Repair, or replace major system components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering and transmissions and engines.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose most carry deck crane components.

· Perform general engine maintenance.

· Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose most electrical systems on IC and electric forklifts.

· Perform and maintain proper battery maintenance on electric equipment.

· Follow all safety procedures while performing work, as well as following all company policies.

· Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

· Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts.

· A valid driver’s license must be maintained at all times. Our insurance does not allow us to have anyone with felony offenses or a poor driving record.

· Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used as required.

Requirements:

· High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred

· Minimum (5) five years  of experience in repair and maintenance on cranes.

· Read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.

· Must be capable of becoming certified to operate equipment.

· Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, kneel, bend and reach.

· Must have an adequate set of personal tools to complete the required work load.
