Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Title: Quality Control Inspector Department: Quality Report To: Director of Quality Duties and Responsibilities: Must have 3+ years aerospace manufacturing metal experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals these skills are important for measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications. Ability to read, understand, and apply contractual requirements, standards, specifications, governmental regulations, or technical procedures. Experience with MRP/ERP systems and an understanding of how the system works and basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office. Must have a solid understanding of Basic GD&T Concepts and a solid ability to interpret Engineering Drawings & Work Instructions. 1st article and final inspection per drawing and router instructions. Populate Inspection reports (FAIR) per AS9102. Verify in-process inspection Reports and Router operations have been completed by the operators and verify parts counts. Must have experience and proficiency working with Quality Control Inspection Hand & Bench Tools, e.g.: various micrometers, bore gages, depth gages, dial indicators, drop indicators, height gages, optical comparators, hardness checkers, profilometers, etc. Segregate non-conforming material and generate NCR Reports. Manage Final Inspection activities to meet daily shipment schedules. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
