Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in grades 5–8 with a specialized caseload of 20–30 learners. This contract-based position focuses on delivering impactful speech-language pathology services in a school environment, empowering students to thrive academically and socially. Enjoy a balanced schedule with two weekdays of your choice, dedicating seven hours each day to providing exceptional care.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Pennsylvania
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience delivering school-based SLP services
- Comfortable providing direct therapy and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Knowledge of supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Speech or Language Impairments (SLI), and Autism Spectrum Disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to students in 5th–8th grades
- Complete thorough and timely speech-language evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student-specific needs and IEP goals
- Maintain organized documentation, data collection, and progress reporting in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, special educators, and families to promote each student’s communication development
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet diverse needs within a caseload of 20–30 students
This contract role allows you to choose any two days between Monday and Friday, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. It’s an ideal fit for those seeking flexibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with varied communication challenges.
