Radiology Technologist – Providence Milwaukie Hospital Job Location: Milwaukie, OR Schedule: Per Diem / Variable Shift Responsibilities The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account each patient’s unique and/or age‑related needs. The technologist utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment when positioning patients, calibrating radiation dose, and determining technique to produce optimal high‑quality images. All examinations are performed with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator, with ALARA awareness. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements. Oregon Radiographer License upon hire. Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
