Due to steady growth Cedar Crest Ice Cream is interviewing for a Route Relief Specialist in the Milwaukee, WI area. The position will be based in Cedarburg, WI. The position is supporting the sales team, sales representatives, route sales representatives, route relief representatives & merchandisers. The position requires the ability to deliver, merchandise and sell products to grocery, convenience, and food service customers. Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements * Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day * Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries * Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner * Collect signature or payment if necessary upon arrival to the recipient client * Document delivery time and location * Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy * Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition Full Time Position: * Successful Candidate should be over 21 years of age. * required to have a valid Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement. * Monday through Friday * Day Shift * Successful Candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical and drug screen. * High school diploma or GED certificate * Valid driver's license * A clean driving record with no moving violations * Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles * Physically fit and strong, able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably * Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus * Dependable and hardworking Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401K * 401K Company Match * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Company paid Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Disability Insurance Pay: From $26.00- $27.00 per hour Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Direct sales: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification : * Driver's License (Required) * Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement (Required) Work Location: In person Company Description Cedar Crest Ice Cream is in the business of spreading joy, one spoonful at a time.
