Water Project Manager

In the role of Project Manager-Water , we'll count on you to: Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline Water related projects Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work efforts with project team to ensure that the work is completed within the agreed-upon budget Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews Implement QA/QC procedures Supervise project staff and serve as a mentor to less experienced engineers Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Project management, including complex water projects Client relationships in the NY/NJ marketplace. Candidates who reside locally in the NY/NJ area are preferred. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
