Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past five years.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card with at least one year certification obtained at the time of issue.
• Successful completion of a road test.
• Meets company driving record requirements.
• Acceptable responses from previous employment verifications.
• Successful completion of all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Safe driving record and consistent commitment to high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle, including tractor and trailer, safely and professionally.
• Follow all safety and operating policies, procedures, and requirements at all times.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
• Support company success by completing customer deliveries accurately and on time.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and associates to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing work in a timely manner.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrate working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintain all DOT-required licenses and documentation.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions.
• Follow all DOT rules and regulations.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely at all times.
• Safely enter and exit the cab independently.
• Complete pickups and deliveries on time.
• Follow safety and quality standards on and off the road.
• Interact with customers and the public in a positive, professional manner while delivering products.
• Contribute as a positive team member with a commitment to fulfilling customer expectations and doing Whatever It Takes .

We hire DOT drivers for local home daily positions at locations across the country.
(Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas). We offer a range of positions from warehouse associates, transportation support associates, drivers and corporate associates.
