Job Details:

• Start times will vary between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekends required - weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Block scheduling type with patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, CRT, Fluoroscopy Permit, and California state license
• California license must be in hand prior to start
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Free parking available
• May be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, chest with/without contrast, colonography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, emergency department, enterography, head with/without contrast, cardiac imaging, intravenous pyelogram, isolation precautions/PPE, lumbar, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, myelography, pediatric acute care, pelvis with/without contrast, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, Siemens equipment, sinuses, soft tissue neck, peripheral IV starts, thoracic, vascular chest imaging, vascular CTA, venipuncture, and X-ray
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

This is an acute care hospital with 488 staffed beds offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups and supports a Level II Trauma Center, providing high-acuity care in a well-equipped clinical environment.
