Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an acute care facility located in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. The role involves working primarily on a Med/Surg telemetry unit with a focus on adult patient care. The position offers night shifts with a minimum weekly commitment of 36 hours, and requires the candidate to be adaptable to the unit's clinical environment and patient population.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 or more years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, located within 60 miles or more from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry unit, strong clinical skills in adult patient care.
• Additional Information: The facility has 40 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6. The unit utilizes Meditech electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, adhering to outlined clinical protocols such as SOPs, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
