Job Title:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA) – Oncology Clinic Location:Blacksburg, VA 24060 (On-site) Schedule:Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Pay:$18.00/hr (W2) Type:Temporary | 40 hrs/week | Interview required Job Summary We’re hiring aCertified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA)to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting. You’ll help keep patient flow running smoothly, assist with exams/procedures, and handle key clinical + administrative support tasks. Responsibilities Escort patients to/from exam rooms and treatment areas Collect and document vitals and pre-visit info (height, weight, allergies, med changes, etc.) Prep/stock exam and treatment rooms; maintain supply levels Assist providers during exams and procedures Administersubcutaneous and intramuscular injectionsas delegated by RN/provider Follow all cleaning/disinfection protocols in exam/treatment rooms Answer phones, route patient calls, support scheduling, and assist with clinic coordination Call in prescriptions and complete patient follow-up calls as directed Perform general admin support (faxing, filing, typing, chart prep, reception tasks) Enter orders under provider direction/supervision (as applicable) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent CMA or CCMA certification (required) Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program 2+ yearsMedical Assistant experience Current BCLScertification Ability to workon-site M–F 8:30a–5:00p Why This Role Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends listed) Clinic-based environment with steady hours Great opportunity for an experienced MA who enjoys patient-facing work How to Apply Apply now and include: Updated resume Proof of CMA/CCMA + BCLS (or confirm you can provide upon request) Best contact number and availability to interview
