POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Courier

LOCATION: Warehouse


POSITION GOAL: Ensure deliveries are handled in a professional manner and all paperwork is returned to the warehouse for verification of delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver all interoffice and U.S. mail from the Administration Building to all schools and pick up from the schools and return to the Administration Building.

1. Deliver all print shop runoffs to all schools and pick up jobs to be printed and return to the print shop.

1. Pick up and deliver books.

1. Deliver all items received daily (i.e. furniture, tools, equipment and miscellaneous items)

1. Deliver items as needed to offsite locations.

1. Deliver tax books to the Court House.

1. Maintain gas and oil in vehicle.

1. Maintain a procedure manual for this position, reviewing annually and submit revisions to supervisor at time of evaluation.

1. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.

1. Must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
2. Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required
3. Required Clearance Forms / Physical / Tests:

-Current Act 24 of 2011 and Act 82 of 2012 (PDE-6004 Form - Arrest / Conviction Report & Certification Form)


-Current Act 34 of 1985 and Act 114 of 2006 (PA Criminal Background Clearance)


-Current Act 114 of 2006 (FBI Federal Criminal History Background Check)


-Current Act 151 of 1994 (Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance)


-Current Act 168 of 2014 (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Sexual Misconduct / Abuse Disclosure Release)


-Pre-employment drug testing


-Physician physical with TB test required.

The person, while performing in this position, will be required to

1. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and to talk and hear;
2. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch;Have specific vision abilities, to include close vision and the ability to adjust focus;
3. Subject to various environmental temperatures with moderate noise level;
4. Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds;
5. Possess effective communication, judgment, mathematical, planning and human relations skills, and to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. 12 months; 8 hours per day.

1. Salary and benefits according to the negotiated agreement between the Board of School Directors and the Hazleton Area Education Support Personnel Association.
