Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level 1 unit specializing in Labor and Delivery as well as Mother and Baby care. The nurse will manage the well-being of women and children until they are stable for discharge or transfer. This position averages about 20 deliveries per month.

This is a 13-week contract position for night shifts, requiring a commitment to provide 36 hours of care per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE Certification
• Active nursing license required

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Providing support to mothers and newborns during labor and postpartum recovery.
• Monitoring patient status and making critical decisions regarding care.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
