Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong ortho, neuro, and robotics experience and will actively participate in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and arrange necessary equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries with a focus on robotics/Da Vinci systems.
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment, ensuring inventory records are up to date.
• Carry out pre and post-surgical tasks, including shaving, transporting patients, and applying dressings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting (not in a surgical center).
• Strong expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgeries with a willingness to float to general OR as needed.
