RN - Manager Profession: Nurse Manager Specialty: Women's Center - Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday to Friday with irregular hours possible Experience: Minimum of 5 years RN experience with at least 2 years of management/leadership experience License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: RN license Bachelor's degree in nursing Minimum of 5 years RN experience 2 years of management/leadership experience BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred Description: The Director of Women's Care is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of nursing and patient care areas.The role ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups of patients, ranging from infants to geriatrics.Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in continuous quality improvement activities.Assures competency of nursing personnel within the department.Assists in formulating the budget and maintains efficient and effective departmental operations in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, and protocols.There may be calls required on evenings and weekends due to the 24/7 operation of the department. #J-18808-Ljbffr
